A butterfly I cannot touch without obstruction

I want to affect your wings of blue
To do so would cause you injury

To do so would hinder your splendor
You are free; an untamed natural wonder
Delicate, transient creature
I crave you eternally

I wanted to update my journal, but wasn't sure what to write. Plus, I don't want to post my poetry as deviations. Too much word clutter in my gallery. "The Butterfly" is about the beginings of obsessive desire.

Sorry for not responding in a while - been really busy, but thanks for stopping by! And I appreciate your taking an interest in what I've got so far - it's kinda old and not that great, but thanks anyway!
Believe me, there's no need to feel awkward - hell, that's how I feel bout now...who exactly was your brother again? I'm really bad with remembering that sort of thing...hehe.
